Worship: Kasey Earl

DJ: John Vaughn

Description: It used to be the case that when someone said the Bible is the authoritative Word of God, most Christians would wholeheartedly agree. No longer. A younger generation has been raised with a general skepticism about any authority, especially biblical authority. This talk will help you understand the nature of authority and what it means for the Bible to be authoritative and then lays out the evidence for why the Bible is indeed the authoritative Word of God.

You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here!  Be safe traveling!

Lead>Defend

Mark Parsley- Party in the Parking Lot

Location: Parking Lot

Topic: Truth Never Gets Old

Location: Main Auditorium

DJ: Mark Parsley

Description: Our culture is deeply confused about truth and is drowning in a sea of relativism. We’re told to “live our own truth” as a way to determine our own identity. In this talk we’ll look at the nature of truth, distinguish objective truth from subjective truth, and then test our understanding of truth. The results are eye-opening for students and adults alike, as many Christians find themselves affirming relativism. Finally, we’ll examine objections to truth and discover why the truth really matters for followers of Jesus.

Eat, drink and be merry as you visit. (in the most church-friendly ways possible please…)
