Shannan Inman

Speaker

Shannan Inman is a minister’s wife, mom, freelance calligrapher, and Christian apologetics enthusiast. She has a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and, as a BCM director’s wife, has been involved with Baptist Collegiate Ministry for 35 years.

In the midst of raising three children and serving BCM students in an increasingly post-Christian world, Shannan became compelled to equip believers to fearlessly defend their faith. In 2019, she completed the Colson Fellows program, a 10-month rigorous course of study on Christian worldview. From there, Shannan wrote an apologetics study, “Don’t Be a Dumb Christian,” which she’s taught at Louisiana Tech BCM and Calvary Baptist Church in Ruston, LA. She currently leads a weekly discussion group at Louisiana Tech BCM called Food for Thought, where she and other leaders train students on how to view and discuss current worldview issues through a biblical lens.

By day, you can find Shannan absorbing Christian worldview podcasts and audiobooks while she does calligraphy for her business, Paperglaze Calligraphy, which has been featured in several publications, including Magnolia Journal. Earlier this year, Shannan also had the privilege of designing the inauguration invitation for Arkansas governor-elect Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
